encourage media is motivated and aimed at regulating anxiety for children…and feeding by example.

evaluation + therapy programs: providing grants for professional assessments, as well as professional and private counseling.

feeding by example: providing pathways and grants that connect celebrity chefs with young chefs for private mentorships and cooking classes, in addition to providing scholarships to local cooking programs.

additional family support: in addition to the programs above, encourage media also supports family charities such as: Homes for Our Troops and The Children’s Hospital Foundation.

most of all, we partner with social media users to encourage a movement that challenges social media’s voice, providing solid uplifting messages, and ultimately, pathways to healing to nourish children and youth suffering anxiety.

encourage media. raising funds and appreciation aimed to embrace childhood anxiety, paying forward all donations in the form of grants and scholarships to foundations, programs and administrators – all working in harmony to feed by example.

cooking therapy: also called culinary or kitchen therapy, has been defined by some experts as “the therapeutic technique that uses arts, cooking, baking, gastronomy, and an individual’s personal, cultural, and familial relationship with food to improve mental health.”

cooking seems to increase self-esteem and improved psychological well-being; it also appears to decrease anxiety and agitation in a variety of age groups. Experts hypothesize that the activity can be soothing for several reasons…

cooking is an extraordinary therapy activity for children experiencing anxiety or depression. It is a mindful experience and expression. It is a positive and celebrative process that brings people together. Cooking requires focus where a child must pay and give attention to the food. Cooking builds a child’s confidence via avenues of: exploring and discovery, pride in the food they have prepared, building brain skills in math and measuring, sensory, fine motor, reading and following directions…also notable, cooking cultivates an ability to communicate and share a part of their valuable self.
